PurePower Technologies has a long company history of OEM excellence, starting with our inception in 1999, as a joint venture between Siemens and Navistar to develop and manufacture OE-level fuel system components.

1999

Formation of joint venture between Siemens and Navistar

2000

Completion of Blythewood manufacturing facility

2002

Start of production of OEM V8 injectors for Navistar/International and Ford

2004

Start of production of OEM I-6 injectors for Navistar/International and Ford (10 million injectors manufactured to date)

2006

Start of Production of OEM PCR Injector for Navistar/ International and Ford

2007

Siemens VDO Division Buys Out JV Share from Navistar

2008

Continental AG Acquires Siemens VDO Division

2009

Navistar Acquires Columbia and Blythewood from Continental (15 million injectors manufactured to date)

2010

PurePOWER Technologies Created by Navistar to Expand Service Parts Sales

2011

Expands Product Offering to EGR Valves and Turbochargers

2012

Expansion of Columbia R&D Facility for Emissions Certification

Navistar Decides to Exit PurePOWER – Sells/Closes Most Operations
