Agreement Broadens Customer Base and Distribution Channels
BLYTHEWOOD, S.C. – Nov. 9, 2016 – PurePower Technologies® (PPT), a leader in the engineering and manufacturing of new and remanufactured fuel injectors and turbochargers for OEMs and the aftermarket, today announced it has shipped its first order of injectors as part of a long-term supply agreement with Standard Motor Products to distribute its premium diesel products nationwide.
The agreement calls for Standard Motor Products to initially warehouse and distribute PPT’s new OE and remanufactured 6.0L, 6.4L and I6 diesel fuel injectors through its retail distribution channels to the automotive aftermarket.

In February, PPT launched as an independent company from Navistar, Inc., allowing it to pursue new opportunities to deliver not only high-performance diesel fuel injection systems, but also expand its engineering and manufacturing expertise regarding all precision fuel, air management and after-treatment systems for light-, medium- and heavy-duty vehicles.
