Agreement Broadens Customer Base and Distribution Channels<\/em><\/p>\n

BLYTHEWOOD, S.C. <\/strong>Nov. 9, 2016 – PurePower Technologies\u00ae<\/sup> (PPT), a leader in the engineering and manufacturing of new and remanufactured fuel injectors and turbochargers for OEMs and the aftermarket, today announced it has shipped its first order of injectors as part of a long-term supply agreement with Standard Motor Products to distribute its premium diesel products nationwide.<\/p>\n

The agreement calls for Standard Motor Products to initially warehouse and distribute PPT’s new OE and remanufactured 6.0L, 6.4L and I6 diesel fuel injectors through its retail distribution channels to the automotive aftermarket.<\/p>\n

“Partnering with such an iconic company like Standard Motor Products, with their in-depth marketing capabilities and vast distribution channels will greatly enhance our ability to deliver world-class diesel technologies to new market segments throughout the country,”\u009d said Jerry Sweetland, president and CEO, PurePower Technologies. “This agreement is a significant step to diversifying our customer base. We expect to announce products soon as we continue our path of aggressive growth and leveraging our unique position as an OEM-tier supplier.”\u009d<\/p>\n

In February, PPT launched as an independent company from Navistar, Inc., allowing it to pursue new opportunities to deliver not only high-performance diesel fuel injection systems, but also expand its engineering and manufacturing expertise regarding all precision fuel, air management and after-treatment systems for light-, medium- and heavy-duty vehicles.<\/p>\n
